Natural Portrait Details

Recommended for Newborn, Baby and Child sessions

Vishal  captures the moods of your child or new baby, their kissable parts and their expressions. You are free  if your child has a favourite toy, feel free to bring it. There is a lot of interaction between Vishal & your child during the session, as well as time for him to just let your child be who he/she truly is. During that time, he sits back and observes with a lot of patience and his camera ready to capture those priceless moments.

Clothing

It should be casual with minimal patterns and writing as not to take the focus away for your child's precious face.  Jeans, khakis, overalls, sundresses, bare skin are ideal.  Feel free to bring several outfits, especially something fun and colourful for additional choices.

Babies

Bare skin is best, but feel free to bring a few outfits you'd like to have your baby captured in. If you are going to be photographed with them,  long sleeved tops are great against bare skin or if you would like to capture their precious little details (hands, feet etc). Also bring an outfit that coordinates with your baby if your baby will be dressed. 

Relationship Portrait Details

Recommended for brothers/sisters, mother and son/daughter, father and son/daughter, friends, couples, families and expectant mothers (maternity) with/without other family members .

These sessions are about storytelling and preserving the relationship you have with one another for generations to come. It's about emotions and images that reveal the essence of your family. Vishal watches you interact. He gently guides you, but also gives you some space to interact and reveal yourselves, capturing real life and the love you share. The sessions are easy going, fun and unique as your relationship.

Love Sessions (Couples) 

Preserving the love you share. Simple, fun, journalistic styled portraiture. Vishal observes with the camera, capturing natural expressions and interactions. Those glances and smiles you only have for each other. The sessions are easy going, fun and unique as your love.

Maternity 

These sessions are extremely precious, preserving a fleeting time in your lives. Pregnancy is beautiful and a miracle whether your first or second child. For individual sessions, fully clothed, partially clothed or nude with strategically placed hands, sheets or other material. The father and rest of the family are welcome because they are also the part .

Clothing

It should be coordinated within the same tonal range. Solid colours work best. Black or dark turtlenecks, long sleeved tops and dark pants are also ideal. Jeans and khakis are great too. Feel free to bring a few options, especially something that is reflective of each individual in the group for the 2nd clothing change.

Maternity

Black tank tops/yoga pants are a favourite. Form fitting lighter coloured clothes work great too. For partially nude or nude images, please be sure to wear your clothing loose. We will click the pictures if see after so many years you will fell freshness of life. 

Make Up/Hair

The services of a Professional Make Up Artist/Hair Stylist for all sessions. A Make Up artist will add the finishing touches by enhancing your natural beauty and create the look you are after. If you prefer to do your own Make Up/Hair, please bring your make up case with you for touch ups. We also recommend that nails be finished as they are often seen in a portrait. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. It's Rs 150 for Make Up and Rs 200 for Make Up and Hair, you pay the make up artist directly in cash.

Journalistic Portrait Details - Location only

Recommended for babies and children. Individual sessions and no formal images.

Childhood is a fleeting time. Twenty years from now will you remember the unique details of your child when he/she was 2, 5 or 9? This session style is ideal for those who long for their child's everyday life to be captured, genuinely and naturally. These images are created in a photojournalistic style, telling your child's story. Saying cheese, sitting nicely and smiling for the camera are not a part of the agenda. Vishal will spend time with your child capturing real moments. It doesn't have to be a special occasion, a birthday or a milestone, ANY day will do. Bathtime, playtime, sandcastles and rainy days are just some moments that are waiting to be captured.   

Important Notes

Custom Portraiture

Prior to the session, we will discuss what your goal is and which style you prefer, reminding you of clothing recommendations appropriate to the portrait session you've chosen and discussing other essential details important to a successful session. Please think of your end result, how you'd like to display and share your images whether as wall portraits, in albums, as a custom designed Storybook and as gifts. We can help you with these details.

It is our goal to create portraits that are natural and seemingly unposed, reflecting the true essence and spirit of your child/children. We create an atmosphere that is warm and inviting as well as casual, relaxed and most importantly fun for all. We take breaks so your children can relax and energize and allow ample time for drinks, feedings or whatever is necessary. Feel free to bring any toys or music that you know your child will enjoy.  

Please consider the time of the day your child/children seem to be most awake and happiest when reserving a session appointment. your child becomes sick the night before or the morning of your session, please call to re-schedule and we will apply your deposit to another session. If you bring your child to the session and they are too sick, I reserve the right to cancel the session and deposit will be non refundable.

We gladly allow parents to be a part of the portrait session, but kindly ask you to observe and not put pressure on your children to smile.  Children tend to get overwhelmed and distracted when several people are watching and/or trying to get them to smile. I engage your child in conversation, let them play or play with them and allow room for everyone to be silly.

Toddlers - This is a very special age group and now that they can walk, they will! They are explorers. Please remember that it is who they are at this age. I know as parents you'll feel that your child is misbehaving and you'll feel stressed because things will not go the way you planned with having them sit nicely and smiling for the  My plan for your toddler is to capture them as they are at this time in their lives. I understand their need to be on the move and am extremely patient and allow ample time. I assure you, I won't be stressed, so please don't be stressed. I am confident that I will capture all that you are hoping for and more.

 The Proofs

After the portrait session, the images are prepared for viewing. You will come back to the studio for a personalized viewing appointment. 

The Viewing Appointment

Viewing portraits on your own can be overwhelming to most people.  We assist you in image selection, framing options, image , wall portrait sizing options and gifting. This appointment will be scheduled within 3 Days of your session.

Please be sure that everyone involved in making the final decision in your portrait  are available for up to one hours.  At this appointment we will discuss the many options available to you to assure that you have made the best choices for you and your family. Please note that your orders must be placed at this appointment.

Due to the custom nature of the product, payment in full is due when portrait orders are placed. We create quality portraits and they cannot be rushed. We inspect and make sure every ordered portrait is up to our standards before they leave the studio. Please allow up to 1 weeks for your portraits to be ready for pick up.

Vishal's Personal Guarantee

I am confident that you will cherish the images I create for you. However, if you are not happy with the images from your session, a reshoots may be scheduled or your session fee will be refunded.

Copyright Policy

All images and previews are under copyright protection. They may not be downloaded, copied, printed, or scanned for electronic use or be reproduced in any manner without the written consent of Vishal . The Low Resolution images that you "purchase" may not be copied, printed, scanned for electronic use or reproduced in any manner by yourself or any other party without the written consent of Vishal. Usage Licenses and/or High Resolution files may be purchased. You may share the images via email or the Internet if a CD with low resolution images has been gifted to you. Please be sure you understand the copyright information presented to you. Failure to comply could result in legal fines.

Digital Files

Digital files may be purchased and cropped to various sizes. Usage documentation will be included. Please contact us for further details and pricing.

Portrait Credits & Discounts

All portrait credits must be redeemed per session and may not be carried over to another session.
